Radiologic Technologist Department: xxxx0 DMH Express Care North Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Varied Hours: Varies Job Details: * Performs routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Participates in clinical instruction and evaluation of student technologists. Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities *Must be a graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology; must achieve ARRT registration and Illinois State License; must maintain educational requirements for licensure and registration. *Moderate to heavy physical exertion, standing 80% of the time; frequent bending and reaching (80 inches from the floor); occasional lifting and carrying of loads 5 to 75 pounds. Must be able to assist average size person (150 pounds) to and from X-ray table, etc. In normal course of work; upon occasion must be able to support average person for approximately two minutes. *Must be able to work under stress and to adapt to changing conditions. *Occasional exposure to moderate environmental variations, above-normal noise levels, and/or unpleasant substances; daily exposure to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions.
